Fight global warming is an android app on the climate change issue. You may install it from google play.
The target for this small game is to reach net-zero carbon emissions in the shortest period to prevent climate change, global warming. Top 5 list will show your best 5 achievements.
1). You will need to do the following things to reach the target:
a) Build railway, solar power plant and wind farm, plant trees. They all may cut the carbon emission and create the income but will need money. This kind of rate will change from year to year.
b) You may give a lecture in the UN, this will raise your reputation in working for net-zero emission and cut the carbon emission.
c) Invest in new energy research, if that succeeds, will provide human clean energy forever and you win the game.
2). You will get some amount of budget every month, but that's not enough. For collecting money, besides income from the railway, solar power plant, wind farm, and trees, you may build petroleum refinery to make money, but this will add more carbon to the air and will decrease your reputation. You may impose the carbon tax, this may or may not be approved. You will need to consider carefully the cost, income, and carbon effect when building.
3). How will your reputation affect your target?
a) The good reputation will attract top scientist to immigrate, that is quite helpful for new energy research.
b) With a good reputation, the building cost of the railway, solar power plant, and wind farm may be decreased with the help of the UN, or even free from the help of other countries, people will prefer taking the railway to drive, increase the income of railway, etc.
c) Giving lectures in the UN will increase your reputation and building petroleum refinery will decrease your reputation.
d) Sometimes the United Nations earth's climate department.officer will ask to donate for preventing global warming, if you agree to donate, that will increase your reputation or will decrease your reputation.

1. Startup window
In this window, you may select one level among three levels, level 1 is the easiest one.
2. Main window
1) Carbon Tax:
This was applied from the previous month, if approved, will see the amount in the "Income" column, the unit is $100K.
2) Railway:
a) Number: miles of built railway.
b) Income: income from total railway last month, the unit is $100K.
c) Carbon: carbon was deducted from built railways last month, the unit is K tons.
2) Solar Power Plant:
a) Number: number of solar power plants you have.
b) Income: income from total solar power plants last month, the unit is $100K.
c) Carbon: carbon was deducted from built solar power plants last month, the unit is K tons.
3) Wind Farm:
a) Number: number of wind farms you have.
b) Income: income from total wind farms last month, the unit is $100K.
c) Carbon: carbon was deducted from built wind farms last month, the unit is K tons.
4) Planting Trees:
a) Number: number of trees you have, the unit is 100 acres.
b) Income: income from total trees last month, the unit is $100K.
c) Carbon: carbon was deducted from trees last month, the unit is K tons.
5) UN Climate Speech:
a) Number: the number of speeches you gave on the global warming issue in the UN, the more speech you give, the more reputation you will gain.
b) Income: there will be no income from UN climate speech.
c) Carbon: carbon was deducted from the total given speech on the global warming issue last month, the unit is K tons.
6) Petroleum Refinery:
a) Number: number of petroleum refineries you build for making money, the more petroleum refinery you build, the less reputation you will have.
b) Income: income from total petroleum refineries last month, the unit is $100K.
c) Carbon: carbon was added from total petroleum refineries last month, the unit is K tons.
7) Total:
a) Income: total income from all items last month, the unit is $100K. The items that were decided to build just last month won't contribute to the total income.
b) Carbon: carbon effect from all items last month, the unit is K tons.
8) Budget:
The budget for this month, the unit is $100K. The budget for each month will change from year to year.
9) Previous Balance:
Balance left last month. This will include the total income from last month.
10) All Carbon:
Every month there will be the amount of carbon emission from the environment (For example 500 K tons, this is a constant), "All carbon" item will accumulate carbon emission from each month and the total carbon from this month. If this value becomes zero or minus, you reach net-zero emissions target and win the game.

Below are events
14) Bad weather damage event
Sometimes bad weather will destroy your existing railway, wind farms, solar powers or petrol refineries.
If you have a higher reputation, sometimes the UN will help to cut the cost of the railway, wind farms, solar powers or UN climate speech.
16) Ask donation event
Sometimes the United Nations earth's climate department officer will ask you to donate for preventing global warming. If you donate, that will increase your reputation or will decrease your reputation.
If you have a higher reputation, sometimes other countries will help to build for free.
If you have a higher reputation, sometimes there will be top scientist immigrated and join the new energy R&D team. This will improve the new energy R&D success rate. If new energy found, you will win the game, besides you make the value of "All Carbon" zero or minus, this is another way to win the game.
If you have a higher reputation, sometimes more and more people take the railway instead of driving, the income and carbon deduction of the railway will increase in the rest of this year.

1) New Energy R&D
By clicking this line, you may decide how much money invest for new energy, the unit is $100K. The successfully finding new energy depends on the accumulated invest for new energy, invest in the current month and number of top energy scientists. Finding new energy is one of two ways to win the game, another way is to make the "All Carbon" value become zero or minus in the main window.
2) Railway
By clicking this line, you may decide how many miles the railway you want to build. The railway may bring income and deduct carbon.
3) Solar Power Plant
By clicking this line, you may decide how many solar power plants you want to build. A solar power plant may bring income and deduct carbon.
4) Wind Farm
By clicking this line, you may decide how many wind farms you want to build. A wind farm may bring income and deduct carbon.
5) Planting Trees
By clicking this line, you may decide how many trees you want to build. The unit is 100 acres. Trees may bring income and deduct carbon.
6) Petroleum Refinery
By clicking this line, you may decide how many petroleum refineries you want to build. Usually, petroleum refinery may bring higher income but will add carbon emission and decrease your reputation
7) Give Climate Speech at UN
By clicking this line, you may decide how many climate speeches in the UN you want to give. Giving speech won't bring income, but will increase your reputation
8) Carbon Tax
By clicking this line, you may apply for the carbon tax. This may or may not be approved, the more you apply, the less possibility to get approval
9) Available Balance
The balance that you may use to build items list in this window. This comes from the previous balance plus the budget for this month.
10) Total Cost
Total cost for all items except carbon tax in this window.
11) By clicking the "INFORMATION" button, you will enter into information windows, show you various unit-price for building and other information.
12) By clicking the button "SUBMIT", will submit the building request and return to the main window. The new started building items won't contribute to income and carbon effect until next month.

All costs, carbon, and income of items on this page will change from year to year.
1) Railway:

3) Wind Farm:
a) Number: number of existing wind farms. They will bring income and deduct carbon in this month.
b) Cost: how much building one wind farm will cost, the unit is $100K.
c) Carbon: how much carbon one wind farm will deduct in one month, the unit is K tons.
d) Income: income from one wind farm in one month, the unit is $100K.
4) UN Speech:
a) Number: the total number of speeches you gave on the global warming issue in the UN since playing, the more speech you give, the more reputation you will gain.
b) Cost: how much giving one UN Speech will cost, the unit is $100K.
c) Carbon: carbon was deducted from one speech on global warming one month, the unit is K tons.
d) Income: there will be no income from UN Climate Speech.
5) Trees:
a) Number: number of trees you have, the unit is 100 acres. They will bring income and deduct carbon in this month.
b) Cost: how much planting 100 acres tree will cost, the unit is $100K.
c) Carbon: carbon was deducted from 100 acres trees one month, the unit is K tons.
